Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year shop experience.
• Skills: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair and maintenance.
• Requirements: Safe work record and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Transports equipment and parts to the paint room and positions for painting.
• Assembles spray gun and equipment and prepares paint and gun for painting.
• Spray paints equipment and parts per Customer Order with specified color.
• Cleans paint booth, lights and spray gun equipment.
• Maintains filters on the Paint Booth and records the Change out.
• Maintain the Waste Paint Barrels and Paint Shed.
• Notifies Purchasing of Paint, equipment, filters, stickers and misc. supplies needed.
• Painter will be required to do other jobs in the department.
