Job summary

Carolina Energy Conservation in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking an experienced Spray Foam Foreman to lead our installation crew on residential retrofit projects. This working foreman role focuses on safety, quality workmanship, and field leadership to ensure each project is completed correctly the first time.

You will operate spray foam rigs, troubleshoot on site, coordinate with homeowners, and train helpers while maintaining productivity and safety.

SPRAY FOAM

Carolina Energy Conservation | Myrtle Beach, SC

Full-Time | OTE $80,000–$120,000+ with Bonuses

Carolina Energy Conservation is looking for an experienced Spray Foam Foreman to lead our spray foam installation crew and ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards.

This is a working foreman position focused primarily on residential retrofit projects in existing homes. Our work often requires diagnosing existing conditions, working around HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, ductwork, existing insulation, and finished areas of the home.

You will lead from the field-managing your crew, operating and maintaining spray foam equipment, solving job-site challenges, communicating with homeowners, and making sure each project is completed correctly the first time.

The right candidate will have strong spray foam knowledge, retrofit experience, leadership ability, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The right candidate can earn OTE of $80,000–$120,000+ per year, including performance-based bonuses.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SPRAY FOAM FOREMAN

As the Spray Foam Foreman, you will be responsible for the successful completion of residential spray foam projects from the time your crew leaves the shop until the job is completed.

The majority of our projects are retrofit installations in existing homes rather than new construction. The Foreman must be comfortable evaluating existing conditions and determining how to complete the installation safely while protecting the homeowner's property.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and supervise the spray foam installation crew
• Manage primarily residential retrofit spray foam projects
• Review job scope and existing conditions before beginning work
• Identify potential obstacles involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ductwork, ventilation, and existing insulation
• Assign responsibilities and provide direction to crew members
• Operate spray foam rigs and application equipment
• Apply and oversee proper installation of spray polyurethane foam
• Monitor foam quality, thickness, coverage, yield, and application conditions
• Ensure proper preparation and protection of the customer's home
• Maintain safe job-site practices and proper PPE requirements
• Troubleshoot spray foam equipment and application issues
• Perform routine equipment and rig maintenance
• Monitor material usage and minimize unnecessary waste
• Maintain an organized and professional company vehicle and spray foam rig
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the project
• Perform final quality-control inspections
• Document job completion and address issues before leaving the property
• Collect customer payments when required
• Train and develop installers and helpers
• Maintain productivity without sacrificing safety or workmanship

QUALIFICATIONS

Spray foam installation experience is strongly preferred for this leadership position. Residential retrofit experience is especially valuable.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous spray foam or insulation experience
• Experience working in existing residential homes and retrofit environments
• Previous crew-lead or foreman experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of spray foam equipment and application procedures
• Ability to identify and solve unexpected field conditions
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage a crew and maintain production expectations
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
