Job summary

Nutreco is seeking a Spray Dryer Operator for our Indianapolis facility to operate and monitor the spray dryer process and related equipment. This role supports safe, efficient production and adherence to quality specifications.

You will monitor feed quality, document production data, perform inspections, and work with the team to drive continuous improvement while meeting customer requirements. The position may align with B shift nights and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of production operator experience in a manufacturing environment operating automated equipment.
• Ability to operate spray dryers and related production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to monitor and document production processes accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment inspections.
• Willingness to learn process chemistry and production systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work a rotating night shift schedule.

What you’ll do

• As a Spray Dryer Operator, you will Own your actions by operating and monitoring the spray dryer process and associated production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
• You will be responsible for monitoring feed quality, maintaining product specifications, completing production documentation, performing routine equipment inspections, and identifying opportunities to improve operational performance.
• Working closely with your team and supervisor, you will help drive continuous improvement while ensuring customer quality requirements are met.
