Job summary

Bell Flavors & Fragrances, Northbrook, IL, is seeking a Spray Dry Operator to produce spray-dried products in line with customer needs, GMP regulations, and Bell’s guidelines. You will work safely, maintain coworker safety, and uphold high quality standards.

Daily duties include operating spray dryers and related equipment, handling materials with a forklift, labeling and palletizing, and maintaining accurate production records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare emulsions and operate spray dryers, scrubbers, and sifters
• Obtain raw materials using a forklift and follow batch cards
• Fill, label, and palletize containers
• Clean and maintain equipment, including lockout and disassembly procedures
• Maintain sanitary compliance in the work area
• Keep accurate production records
• Perform kosherization as needed
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP, Allergen, SSOP, Kosher, and other guidelines
• Serve as backup for other trained Spray Dry Operators
• Other duties as required by the manager

Position Overview
