Job summary

Avalign Technologies is seeking a Level II Spray Coater to coat medical implant devices at our Portland, OR facility on the 2nd shift. The role involves applying coatings, inspecting parts, and maintaining strict documentation and traceability to meet customer specifications.

Ideal candidates will have prior Level I spray coating experience, the ability to read engineering drawings, and proficiency with calipers, balances, and comparators.

Qualifications

• Previous work history required.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to use measuring devices (calipers, balances).
• Prior experience as a Level I Spray Coater.

Responsibilities

• Review Job Travelers to verify part identity and coating requirements.
• Prepare binder solutions per SPIs.
• Visually inspect parts to meet customer requirements.
• Follow SPIs and MPIs for porous coating of implants.
• Maintain ID and traceability of product and documentation.
• Ensure measuring equipment is calibrated and within date.
