Job summary

Lake Air Products in Roseville, MN is seeking a 1st shift Spot Welder with set-up experience to join our manufacturing team. You will operate spot welding equipment, install electrodes, and adjust heat, pressure, and timing to produce high-quality welds.

Responsibilities include inspecting components with micrometers and calipers, reading routings and prints, and delivering pieces to inspection. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in spot welding, with strong

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience in Spot Welding preferred.
• Excellent people skills and ability to partner with leadership.
• Able to bend, lift, and move pieces; standing and sitting as needed.
• Flexible in a fast-moving environment with the ability to drive toward clarity and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Operate spot welding equipment and set up electrodes.
• Install electrodes and adjust heat, pressure, and timing.
• Inspect welded components with micrometer or caliper.
• Follow routings, prints, or instructions to produce welds.
• Deliver first piece to inspection to verify dimensions and weld accuracy.
• Identify faults and notify supervisors of issues.
