Job summary

The City of Dinuba is seeking a helpful staff member to assist customers at the Sportsplex during evenings and weekends. You will support special events, leisure classes, and daily operations, ensuring a safe, friendly environment for patrons.

Responsibilities include scheduling, answering inquiries, handling payments, and maintaining facility cleanliness while upholding safety rules and reporting equipment issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating sports and events, including tournaments and parties.
• Strong customer service principles and safety awareness.
• Basic math skills for transactions and recordkeeping.
• Ability to operate a computer and maintain records.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work with the public.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with events and daily operations at the Sportsplex.
• Coordinate tournaments, birthday parties, and leisure classes.
• Answer phones, handle payments and provide change.
• Set up and breakdown activities and events; maintain facility cleanliness.
• Enforce safety rules and coordinate reservations for Sportsplex use.
• Report equipment issues and respond to public inquiries.
• Perform related duties as required.
