City of Peoria, Arizona is seeking an energetic Venue Operations Associate to support ticket sales, event operations, and partnerships for the Peoria Sports Complex and Rio Vista Recreation Center.

The role offers a seasonal, non-benefited schedule with nights, weekends, and holidays, October through April, and 25–40 hours weekly with potential peak hours during Spring Training. This is a great entry into professional sports and municipal recreation.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and desire to build a career in professional sports, recreation, or government.
• Experience in ticket sales, event operations, or marketing/sponsorship is preferred.
• Ability to supervise part-time staff and volunteers and coordinate schedules.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales via outbound calls for Spring Training games, including renewals, new sales, and group tickets.
• Assist in day-to-day ticket office operations and event setup/teardown.
• Provide in-person and phone customer service for digital tickets, seating, and inquiries.
• Operate Tickets.com to support sales, service, and operations tasks.
• Assist with fundraising ticket programs and sponsor activation runs.
