Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three years related experience.
  • Licensed for ornamental and turf pest control within 6 months of hire.
  • Playground Safety Certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Backflow/Check Valve Certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff engaged in maintenance and landscaping of City parks and Sports Complex.
  • Conduct technical maintenance work such as ball field preparation and renovations.
  • Oversee irrigation system testing and maintenance.
  • Act as onsite lead turf grass management rep for fertilizers and pesticides.
  • Complete administrative tasks, attend meetings, manage weekly reports, and oversee safety inspections and inventory.
