Job summary

Sportsmedia Technology Corp. seeks a QA Intern for a 6-month program starting February/March 2027 in Jacksonville, FL.

You will collaborate with the Engineering team to test tennis-focused software, learn scripting, testing, and documentation, and contribute to quality assurance practices. You will report to the SMT-JAX QA Manager, gain hands-on experience across testing activities, and potentially include basic programming tasks as you grow within the role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of major sports, tennis preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to efficiently working problems to resolution.
• A self-motivated mentality with stellar time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and research new methodologies.
• A curiosity for identifying and solving problems

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and conducting tests.
• Resolving conflicts to meet test objectives.
• Recording any and all constraints on testing.
• Providing full documentation of all deviations from the test plan.
• Capturing all data required to support test findings.
• Producing clear and objective reports of test result data.
• Assessing the testing process, including methods of improvement.
