Job summary

Volo is seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern to assist the marketing team in creating engaging Instagram content, including Reels, Stories, and Feed posts. You’ll edit video content using CapCut, Premiere, and Canva, helping to maintain a cohesive brand voice across channels.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media strategy, and brand storytelling, with opportunities to attend Volo leagues to capture authentic action footage.

Qualifications

• Active content creation with a portfolio or samples preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a relevant field (Marketing/Communications) or recent graduate.
• Understanding of social-first content strategy and brand storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily content creation and posting for Instagram, including Reels, Stories, and Feed posts.
• Create and edit short-form video content using CapCut, Premiere, and Canva.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual aesthetic across social channels.
• Monitor social media trends and brainstorm ways to apply them to Volo’s brand.
• Schedule posts and help track performance metrics.
• Attend content meetings and contribute new ideas.
• Engage with community comments and DMs.
• Attend Volo leagues to capture photo/video content.

Role Summary

As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you’ll work directly under our Marketing and Partnerships Coordinator to brainstorm, develop, and distribute engaging content across our social channels: primarily Instagram. You’ll help manage posting schedules, edit video content, and bring fresh, creative energy to our digital presence.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a content portfolio and gain hands-on experience in social media, content creation, and brand storytelling!

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily content creation and posting for Instagram, including Reels, Stories, and Feed posts
• Create and edit short-form video content using mobile or desktop editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere, and Canva
• Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual aesthetic across social channels
• Monitor current social media trends and brainstorm creative ways to apply them to the Volo brand
• Schedule social media posts and assist with tracking performance metrics
• Participate in creative content meetings and contribute new ideas
• Assist with light graphic design and caption writing as needed
• Engage with community comments and DMs as needed
• Attend Volo leagues to capture photo and video content

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends
• Experience with video editing on a phone or desktop
• Comfortable using creative and social media tools such as Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Suite
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage deadlines
• Bonus: Experience with sports, rec leagues, or community-based content
• Able to attend Volo leagues to record content
• Must be available 1–2 weeknights per week for content capture
