D.C. United is seeking a creative, social-media-savvy intern to join our Marketing Department for Spring 2027 in Washington, DC. This undergraduate or graduate position offers hands-on experience with matchday coverage, short-form video production, and real-time content creation across our digital platforms.

Work alongside the club's social media and marketing teams to ideate, produce, copywrite, and publish content while building a diverse creative portfolio in a fast-paced MLS environment.

Competenze

• Must be eligible to receive college credit.
• Portfolio or examples of social media content required.
• Available up to 25 hours per week January 2027 through May 2027.
• Pursuing a related degree (communications, marketing, journalism, multimedia).
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Mansioni

• Contribute to ideation, creation, and execution of platform-specific social media content across D.C. United's digital channels.
• Capture, edit, and produce photo and video content featuring players, matches, training, community initiatives, and events.
• Assist with producing short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Support real-time social media coverage on matchdays, including live content capture, editing, copywriting, and publishing.
• Develop creative captions, headlines, and concepts reflecting the club's brand voice.
• Monitor emerging social media trends, platform features, and conversations to identify timely content opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support integrated content initiatives.
• Assist with content planning, scheduling, and organization to support overall social media strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
