United’s Creative and Content team in capturing, editing, and producing engaging video content that tells the story of the club, players, and fans during the fall 2026 semester. This role provides hands-on experience in professional sports content creation, including matchday coverage, training sessions, social media features, and branded storytelling within a fast-paced MLS environment. Interns will be included in an intern cohort that will work oninterdepartmental projects and gain real-life videography experience.This internship is ideal for students pursuing careers in videography, sports media, digital content, or creative production. It will be completed under a hybrid schedule and be aligned with the DCU Full Time Staffing schedule. Tuesdays through Thursdays will be in-person at the D.C. United Offices located at Audi field. The remaining days of the week, excluding any game days or events, will be virtual. The ability to work matches on site is required to be considered for this position.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**• Film, edit, and format video content for social media (X, Instagram, YouTube), the stadium video board, and broadcast partners.• Quickly edit highlights, hype videos, and behind-the-scenes footage for daily distribution.• Assist with pre-game/in-game video shoots, setup/breakdown of equipment, and production roles.• Professional development through mentorship, team collaboration, and leadership sessions.• Capture, log, organize, and maintain video footage and media elements.• Work with the video team, producers, and other departments to bring creative concepts to life.**REQUIREMENTS**• **Must be an active undergraduate or graduate student eligible to receive college credit for the internship as this is an unpaid opportunity.**• Available to dedicate up to 25 hours per week from August – November 2026.• Willingness to work matchdays, weekends, and/or evenings.• Prior experience in sports or related fields is a plus.• Coursework in videography, film production, media, or related field• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and other creative cloud applications.**KEY QUALITIES & SKILLS**• Coachable, hardworking, and able to multitask with a positive attitude.• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff, partners, and fans.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Clear and professional communication abilities.• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.• Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required.***All candidates must complete a successful background check.***D.C.
