Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Sports Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations of youth and adult sports programs. You will manage leagues, support clinics and tournaments, and ensure records, payments, and CRM enrollments are handled efficiently.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and effective communication with participants, staff, and administrators. Physical duties include lifting, standing, and exposure to outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years’ experience in youth/adult sports programs.
• CPR / First Aid certification.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Manage adult leagues (Basketball, Pickleball, Volleyball).
• Manage youth leagues (Basketball, Pickleball, Volleyball).
• Serve as administrator for leagues, clinics, tournaments, and lessons.
• Assist enrollments in CRM system and maintain organized records of programs.
• Process payments in the department and coordinate with accounting on events and contractors.
• Ensure the department budget is met according to income/expense goals.
• Participate in agency-wide activities and events, sometimes outside standard hours.
• Communicate effectively with children, administrators, coworkers, and members.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment at all times.
• Fulfill responsibilities in line with organization philosophies and guidelines.
