Job Overview
The Sports Physical Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, treatment, follow-up, and documentation for patients/athletes based on clinical assessments and their objectives. A respectful, energetic, and friendly attitude is essential.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Evaluate and assess patients’/athletes’ physical conditions, needs, and goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, treatments, and notes
• Create and manage individualized treatment plans based on assessments and goals
• Implement treatments such as trigger point dry needling (with or without e-stimulation), cupping, joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and IASTM
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Keep the clinical space clean and organized
• Develop and foster relationships with local gyms and sports organizations, including community events
• Speak confidently in small group educational clinics
• Assist in the annual Fire Rescue Throwdown competition
• Communicate professionally and kindly with patients, staff, and providers in a fun and engaging manner
• Share the clinic space courteously with staff and patients
• Lead by example by maintaining an active lifestyle

Supervisory Responsibilities

• The supervisory role will be developed as the business grows

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy, required
• State-specific Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), required
• Sports background (preferred sport), recommended
• Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), recommended
• Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), recommended
• Emergency Medical Responder (ERM) Certification, recommended
