Physical Therapist - Sports

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $72,000-90,000/ Year

Clinic Location: SMASA Alamo Heights - 430 W. Sunset Rd San Antonio, TX 78209

An established clinic in the heart of the Alamo Heights community, we serve primarily a sports and orthopedic population including high school, university and professional sports. Our providers work closely with physicians from Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio, who oversee the medical care of college, high school, and professional sports including, San Antonio FC, St. Mary's University, Trinity University, Texas A&M University - San Antonio, SA City Soccer, and Boerne Soccer Club among many others.

Responsibilities

You’ll achieve success by:

• Delivering outstanding care in an outpatient setting, utilizing the latest evidence-based methods
• Reviewing patients' medical history
• Diagnosing patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns
• Developing individualized treatment plans for patientswith clear goals and expected outcomes
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on manual therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
• Recording patient progress and modifying the plan of care as needed

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Licensure in good standing in the state of Texas or currently pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy DPT degree
