Position Summary

The Massage Therapist provides various massage therapy services and treatments that complement fitness programs, improve overall well-being, and enhance the guests' fitness experience while living the mission, vision, and core values of LifeSpa and Salon. They build relationships with other departments and educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy. Responsibilities include designing sessions based on guests' needs and suggesting massage schedules for recurring sessions, working with the entire LifeSpa and Salon team to deliver a professional, superior experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and serve members in a friendly, professional manner
• Provide individualized massage therapy services tailored to client needs
• Develop and maintain personalized client relationships
• Educate clients on LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the spa environment
• Serve as an expert in muscle and body analysis and maintenance regimens
• Promote and sell massage services, encouraging repeat business
• Stay current on certifications and industry trends

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Massage Therapy License
• Ability to perform all types of massage services
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and commissions
• Basic PC operating knowledge
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, and move up to 50 pounds

Preferred Requirements

• 2 years of professional massage experience
• Knowledge of body treatments
• Experience with Salon Biz software

Pay and Benefits

This position offers commissions between 35% and 70%, depending on product and productivity, with a weekly minimum wage as per law.
