Responsibilities

  • Manage regional sports programming, competitions, tournaments, and community events, including logistics, facilities, equipment, registration, compliance, and volunteer coordination.
  • Recruit, train, and support athletes, Unified Partners, coaches, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, districts, recreation departments, athletic programs, and community organizations.
  • Support school inclusion initiatives by tracking engagement, providing resources, and helping schools implement inclusive sports and leadership programs.
  • Oversee volunteer teams, interns, and event committees to ensure successful program execution.
  • Assist with program budgets, reporting, inventory, contracts, and administrative processes.
  • Promote community engagement, fundraising initiatives, health programs, and athlete leadership opportunities.
  • Travel regularly throughout the assigned region to support events, partners, and programs.

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA 93401

Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Salary Pay Range and Other Compensation: The salary range for this position is expected to be between $50,000-67,000 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

FLSA Status: Exempt

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

About the Role: Responsible for leading community sports and school-based inclusion programs across an assigned region.
