The University of North Georgia in Dahlonega is seeking a Sports Information Student Worker – Institutional Student Worker to support the Athletic Communications team during game days, assisting with broadcast production and live statistics reporting for the Peach Belt Conference and NCAA.

This part-time, temporary role offers hands-on experience in production, on-air presentation, and event operations while you maintain enrollment in classes and support UNG Athletics with a strong professional

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to perform required manual labor (lifting, long periods of standing).
• Comfortable in front of large crowds, able to work with people as a team.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Sports Information Student Worker – Institutional Student Worker position. The Sports Information Student Worker assists the Athletic Communications team for all game day operations relating to the broadcast production and live statistic reporting for the Peach Belt Conference and the NCAA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Nighthawk Sports Network production crew.
• Serve as on-air talent for home athletic events that are streamed live.

• General knowledge of sports offered at UNG.

• Comfortable in front of large crowds, ability to work with people, team player, and ability to follow through with tasks.
• Highly motivated to represent UNG Athletics in a positive manner.
