TSR is a trusted staffing and workforce solutions partner providing editorial coverage for Sneak Peak in Burbank, CA. We seek a Sports Editor/Writer with deep soccer and NFL knowledge to deliver timely, engaging content for a fast-paced sports site.

The role involves creating daily articles, coordinating with editorial, marketing, and SEO teams, and ensuring accuracy under tight deadlines. This is a full-time contract role onsite in Burbank, with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in digital sports editing and writing.
• Deep knowledge of soccer and the NFL, with familiarity across UFC and college football.
• Excellent writing, editing, copy editing, and headline-writing skills.
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to identify compelling angles.
• Proven ability to deliver clean, accurate copy under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Write and publish approximately one original article per day, depending on assignment complexity.
• Produce fast-turnaround coverage tied to matchups, results, schedules, standings, marquee events.
• Write evergreen and discovery content, including how-to-watch guides and viewing guides.
• Build and maintain persistent team and competition hubs across a season.
• Edit copy from other writers and update existing articles for accuracy.
• Apply SEO best practices and coordinate with stakeholders for approvals.
