Job summary

FanDuel is seeking a Data Science Manager for its Sports Modeling & Innovation team in Jersey City. You will lead a group of data scientists, build production-ready models, price markets, and create dashboards to drive actionable insights across FanDuel Group.

Collaboration with product, risk, and trading teams is essential. You will mentor staff, promote effective communication of model outputs, and contribute to a collaborative code environment while tackling challenging sports modeling

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' industry experience in data science, analytics or engineering preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major or relevant experience in data science preferred.
• Experience mentoring or managing data scientists or analysts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, iterate, and productionize ML models to predict sports outcomes.
• Lead a team of data scientists and communicate findings to senior leaders.
• Create dashboards and data visualizations to inform business decisions.
• Work with product, risk, and trading teams to improve pricing and performance.
