Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, CS, or related field; master's preferred.
• Experience in data analysis, preferably within the sports industry.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R or similar.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• A passion for sports and data-driven performance.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from sports performance, fan engagement, and operations.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights for strategic decisions.
• Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with coaches, marketing, and technology teams on data-driven strategies.
• Develop predictive models to forecast performance outcomes and audience behaviors.
• Maintain and enhance data systems ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Stay updated with industry trends in data analytics and sports tech.
• Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as required.
