Job summary

Sporty is seeking a Data Analyst to mine large data sets and deliver actionable insights used by product managers, traders, and executives. You will design dashboards, generate in-depth reports, and help maintain stable reporting infrastructure for stakeholders.

The role requires 3+ years in a data-driven role, strong SQL, Python, BI tools, ETL pipelines, and experience with A/B testing. A fast-paced, remote-first environment with clear communication and collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a data-driven role.
• Strong experience with KPIs/OKRs.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Proficient in Python and BI tools.
• Experience with ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of A/B testing.
• Familiarity with Airflow.
• Understanding of relational databases and data warehouses.
• Good understanding of sports and gaming is a plus.
• Proactive, self-driven with strong analytical skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Define and monitor core KPIs to evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and business teams to translate questions into analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and self-serve analytics frameworks.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Validate data quality and collaborate with data engineering.
