Job summary

Elevo is seeking an After School Sports Coach to lead daily practices for grades 3–8 in Wasco, CA. The role supports student well-being through physical activity and SEL-aligned programming, with paid training and growth opportunities within a mission-driven team.

Responsibilities include organizing Mon-Fri afternoon practices (2:00pm–5:30pm), teaching soccer, basketball, and flag football, and fostering teamwork, mentorship, and inclusive participation while coordinating with parents and school

Qualifications

• Experience coaching youth sports or working with students in an athletic capacity, preferably grades 3–8.
• Strong knowledge of soccer, basketball and flag football.
• Positive mentorship and foster social-emotional growth in students.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and administration.
• Commitment to an inclusive environment for all students.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.; pass Live Scan Background check and TB screening.
• 18+ with high school diploma or GED.
