Job description

Christ the Redeemer Catholic School Athletic Coach

Christ the Redeemer Catholic School is currently seeking coaches for the following teams this school year.

More information: All coaches must complete an Applitrack form on the Galveston‑Houston Arch‑Diocese website, complete the online Safe Environment Training and a series of required School Annual Trainings online: Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid & Sudden Illness, AED & CPR, Anaphylaxis & Epinephrine, and Child Abuse & Neglect. This is a stipend-only position.

When the games begin in late August, teams normally practice twice and play twice a week. We are part of the Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association, divided into North and South divisions. We play away and home games against schools in our division, so travel will be involved. Player parents are responsible for student‑athlete transportation to games.

Our student athletes have a wide range of skill levels. Some have experience; some do not. We do not cut team members; every student athlete who wants to play can make the team. The JV team is developmental, and the varsity team is competitive.
