St. Michael Catholic School Athletic Coach

St. Michael Catholic School is currently seeking Coaches for the following teams this school year.

Position Overview

Coaches will be responsible for overseeing student athletes in all teams during the school year. The role includes coaching, administering training, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for players.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach teams with varying skill levels, ensuring every student athlete has the opportunity to play (no cuts).
• Develop a training plan and conduct practices twice or more per week.
• Lead team meetings and communicate with players and parents.
• Ensure compliance with required trainings: Safe Environment Training, Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid & Sudden Illness, AED & CPR, Anaphylaxis & Epinephrine, Child Abuse & Neglect.
• Fill out an Applitrack form on the Galveston-Houston Arch‑Diocese website.
• Assist with travel logistics for away and home games within the Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association divisions.
• Represent the school as a positive Christian example for student athletes.

• Coaching or playing experience in relevant sport.

• Commitment to attending all required annual trainings.
