SALARY: $16.39/Hr. Plus Tips.

After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive an off-probation wage increase.

(Part-Time and Half-Time status are eligible for an additional $2.00 per hour worked).

Shift Differential:

• Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) - $1.00 per hour worked
• Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am - $3.00 per hour worked
• Saturday (4am to 4pm) - $2.00 per hour worked
• Saturday (4pm to 4am) - $3.00 per hour worked
• Sunday 4am to Monday 6am - $2.00 per hour worked

Position Summary: Under direct supervision of the Sports Betting Supervisor, provide excellent guest services and work as part of a team to ensure that the guests have an exceptional experience. Guest interactions include recording sports wagers, handling cash transactions, and paying out winning wagers. Assist guests with understanding sports betting terminology and options. Adhere to regulations and policies. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Resolve customer concerns and focus on customer service.
• Support and answer questions about sportsbook rules, betting options, odds, conditions, changes, and promotions.
• Operate wagering terminal, perform machine maintenance, and ensure area cleanliness.
• Process and record transactions accurately.
• Verify and compute payouts carefully and quickly.
• Monitor betting patterns and report suspicious activities.
• Complete daily paperwork and reconcile cash and inventory.
• Comply with transaction regulations and reporting requirements.
• Collect information for large payouts for tax forms.
• Adhere to all operational procedures and payout policies.
• Payout winning tickets as per verification.
• Perform floor duties, maintain the sportsbook area, and assist guests.
• Maintain confidentiality of guests' information and betting actions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or HSED within one year (exempt for applicants 50+).
• One year cash handling experience.
• Six months customer service experience.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Frequent walking, sitting, standing.
• Irregular shifts, extended hours, evenings, holidays, weekends.
• Work environment may include smoke, noise, dust.
• TB screening or skin test required within 30 days.
