SALARY: $16.39/Hr. Plus Tips

Post-probation wage increase: Upon successful completion of probation, employees will receive a wage increase.

Additional pay: Part-Time and Half-Time status are eligible for an extra $2.00 per hour worked.

Shift Differential:
Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) - $1.00/hr
Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am - $3.00/hr
Saturday (4am to 4pm) - $2.00/hr
Saturday (4pm to 4am) - $3.00/hr
Sunday 4am to Monday 6am - $2.00/hr

Position Summary:

Under supervision of the Sports Betting Supervisor, provide excellent guest service, handle sports wagers, cash transactions, and payouts. Assist guests with sports betting terminology and options, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws. Continuation depends on funding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service to all guests and internal customers.
• Address customer concerns and prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Support and inform guests about sportsbook rules, betting options, odds, and promotions.
• Operate wagering terminals, perform maintenance, and keep the area clean.
• Record transactions accurately and verify payouts promptly.
• Monitor betting patterns and report suspicious activities to protect assets and ensure safety.
• Complete daily paperwork, including cash counts and deposits with signatures.
• Follow currency transaction laws, anti-money laundering regulations, and SAR requirements.
• Gather information for large payout reports, including W2-G forms.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures for payouts, recording, and verifications.
• Maintain the sportsbook area, answer questions, and assist guests.
• Safeguard cash, inventory, and maintain confidentiality of guest information.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or HSED within one year of employment (exempt for applicants 50+).
• One year of cash handling experience.
• Six months of customer service experience.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Frequent walking, sitting, standing.
• Irregular shifts, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Work environment may include smoke, noise, or dust.
• TB screening or skin test required within 30 days of employment.
