Job summary

Barrel House is seeking a server to join the Front of House team in Bloomington, IL. The server acts as the main guest service and sales representative, providing guests with a memorable and positive experience while maintaining knowledge of the menu and specials.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking and relaying orders via POS, bussing, running food, and ensuring timely, courteous service. 1–5 years server experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent preferred; POS skills

Qualifications

• 1–5 years previous server experience.
• Be able to multitask and manage multiple tables.
• Able to handle cash and process payments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and build rapport.
• Relay orders to bar and kitchen via the POS system.
• Maintain section and bussing as needed.
• Deliver professional, courteous service to guests.
• Train and guide other servers as requested by management.
