Job summary

Hornets Sports & Entertainment (HSE) is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to support the Revenue division with data-driven insights for ticketing, partnerships, and marketing strategy. The intern will assist in data extraction, data cleaning, and dashboard design in Tableau, translating data into actionable insights for stakeholders. This paid, in-person internship pays $15.00 per hour and requires 20–30 hours per week.

The 2026-2027 season runs Sept. 7, 2026, to Apr.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Interest in sports business intelligence and analytics.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Support BI projects across Revenue, Partnerships, Ticketing, and Marketing.
• Provide insights on consumer behavior and demographics.
• Maintain and optimize Tableau dashboards and SQL queries.
• Assist with organizing, cleaning, and managing data in CRM.
• Participate in internship program activities and work on a project.
