Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. is seeking a Retail Service Shop Technician Full Time in Springfield, IL to diagnose, maintain, and assemble customer and store equipment across a variety of sporting gear and merchandise.

The role requires a clean driver's license, willingness to obtain DOT certification, and basic mechanical knowledge. You’ll work with parts, fill CO2 tanks, and help with equipment deliveries and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Clean, valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain DOT certification.
• Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operation and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and provide maintenance and assembly of customer and store equipment.
• Order and follow up with vendors for repair parts.
• Safely fill CO2 and compressed air tanks for paintball markers.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records for store and customer equipment.
• Assist with delivering and loading customer equipment and merchandise at the store and to customer residences.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Be flexible to work assigned schedules between 9 am and 9 pm, Monday through Saturday, and 11 am and 6 pm on Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
