Job summary

City of St. George is seeking a part-time Recreation Attendant to provide front-line support for public recreation programs in our community facilities.

The role covers customer service, answering inquiries, assisting with events and schedules, and maintaining facilities and records as directed by the Recreation Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), some experience in umpiring/refereeing and coaching, and possess CPR/First Aid/AED certifications within

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Background in umpiring/refereeing and coaching preferred.
• Must have CPR, First Aid, AED certification within 60 days of hire and maintain them.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in person.
• Respond to public inquiries about recreation programs and services.
• Promote programs and special events.
• Open/close facilities and ensure equipment and schedules are set.
• Update scores, brackets, and reports; assist with protests and awards.
