Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is seeking a part-time sport field technician to paint fields for the Moody and Semones Sports department and for local parks and school fields in Dallas.

Ideal candidates are energetic, able to lift 50 pounds, and capable of clear communication with players, coaches and parents. Required trainings include First Aid/CPR and Child Abuse Awareness; applicants must be at least 14 years old.

Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

The YMCA is currently taking application for energetic, confident, and friendly staff to work in the sports department as a sport field technician. The technician is responsible for painting sport fields for the Moody and Semones Sports department as well as local parks and school fields.

Availability Requirements: Monday - Friday. Approximately 20 hrs per week.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Incumbent should be able to communicate with players, coaches and parents effectively. Candidate should be able to lift 50 pounds. Ideal candidate must be energetic, enthusiastic and have the motivation to share that energy with all the sports participants. Candidate should have strong human relation skills. Incumbent must possess a strong understanding of the YMCA and its mission as well as have a strong desire to deliver a quality program to children and families in the community. Must attend required trainings including First Aid/CPR, Child Abuse Awareness, and other trainings as outlined by the YMCA.Should be 14 years or older.
