Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Sports Coordinator in the San Francisco area to enhance the player and coach experience. The role focuses on building relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring instructional aspects are delivered effectively.

You will observe, assess, and support coaches across all ages and skill levels, with hands-on involvement in practices and games. The position requires empowering volunteer coaches, teaching core concepts and sportsmanship, and supervising game

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to supervise safety and manage situations.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Available to work weekends and some evenings for ~7 weeks.

Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands‑on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent communication skills
• Sport‑specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
