Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation is seeking a Sports Coordinator in San Francisco to enhance the player and coach experience. You will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring instructional quality and safety during practices and games across age groups.

The role involves hands-on involvement with practices and games, observing, assessing, and assisting coaches, and delivering a positive customer-service experience throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Must have coaching experience in sports.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong focus on safety and player protection.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Must be available for weekends and some evenings for the season (~7 weeks).

Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands‑on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun

• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent communication skills
• Sport‑specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
