University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks a Sponsored Programs Project Manager II in the Research Mission - ORSP Pre-Award unit. The role oversees, coordinates, and manages activities for sponsored projects, implementing PM processes to ensure budget, standards, and timelines are met.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with four years of PM experience; a Master's and CRA are preferred. This position is based on the Main Campus in Jackson, MS with full-time hours.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field and four years of related project management experience.
• Master's degree and certified research administrator (CRA) preferred.
• Knowledge of project management processes, grant and contract policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manages the day-to-day operational aspects of a sponsored program project and scope.
• Develops project plans and cost projections, allocates resources, and prioritizes tasks.
• Aligns activities with organizational objectives and ensures outcomes meet goals.
• Coordinates policies to meet sponsored program requirements and sponsor guidelines.
• Interacts with internal/external parties to resolve problems and communicate progress.
• Informs management and maintains accuracy of documents and reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
