Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: Three years prior experience in an office environment.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge: Microsoft Office, problem solving, communication, learning new software, process improvement, and ability to work with diverse staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Unapplied Cash Receipts Account and serve as the primary Accounts Receivable specialist for sponsored projects.
• Review, research, and apply sponsor payments for accurate posting and month-end reconciliation.
• Investigate misapplied payments, short-pays, overpayments, and posting errors using DASH, Cayuse/Huron, IRIS and related systems.
• Monitor aging, collections, and sponsor payment trends; follow up and escalate unresolved items.
• Provide guidance to departments and faculty on billing, allowability, accountability, and payment application.
• Prepare reports to support month-end close, audits, and management oversight.
• Assist with process improvements and coordination across DRA-SPA and ORIED staff.
