Job summary

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of related and progressively more responsible work experience in contract negotiation and management.
• Knowledge equivalent to a four-year college degree in Accounting, Business or Administration.
• Desirable Juris Doctor with experience in contract law and university-for-profit relations.

Responsibilities

• Contract and Sub-Contract Management oversight and signature authority for MSU contracts and subcontracts.
• Regulatory and Financial Compliance interface with key university offices.
• Supervise two team members: legal professional and pre-award/award process manager.
• Deliver executive-level contract support to MSU Business Connect leadership.
• Pursue continuing education in clinical trial practices and regulatory requirements.
