Sponsored payments are biweekly and the annual salary ranges from $48,000 to $124,000, reflecting funding levels and support needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active and engaged in local community.
• At least six months of personal or professional experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Comfortable using technology and electronic documentation systems.

Support Services of Virginia (SSVA) is seeking compassionate individuals, couples, and families in Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, York County, Gloucester, Mathews, Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Poquoson, Accomack County, Northampton County, and surrounding communities to become Sponsored Residential Providers.

This opportunity allows providers to welcome an adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities into their home while providing a stable, supportive, and family‑style environment. Providers help individuals work toward personal goals, develop greater independence, participate in community life, and build meaningful relationships.

Sponsored Residential Providers can earn approximately $48,000-$124,000 per year, depending on the support needs of the individual(s) served and applicable program funding levels.

Compensation

Sponsored payments are issued biweekly.
