Job summary

The Odom Corporation in Spokane, WA is seeking an HR Generalist to support employees and managers across our Washington operations. This role delivers HR programs, supports workforce initiatives, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations.

You will partner with HR leadership and operations, help build a positive workplace culture, and provide guidance on employment practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of Human Resources experience in a generalist, specialist, coordinator, administrative, or related capacity.
• Experience handling confidential information and maintaining discretion.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and leaders, providing guidance on HR programs, policies, and employment practices.
• Support employee engagement, recognition, communication, retention, and workforce initiatives.
• Assist managers with staffing, performance management, attendance, and employee development matters.
• Promote manager capability through coaching, resource support, and policy interpretation.
• Support implementation of HR programs, training initiatives, and organizational projects.
