Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions in Washington is seeking Advanced Psychiatric Practitioners (PMHNP/PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team serving geriatric patients. You will provide direct psychiatric care in Skilled Nursing Facilities and collaborate with psychiatrists.

We offer a stable base salary with monthly incentives, generous PTO, CEU allowances, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision. WA licensure and DEA are required; prior SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Washington with psychiatry focus.
• WA Board of Pharmacy license to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• 1 year geriatric psychiatry experience.
• 1 year of treatment in Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patients' mental status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Discuss psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
