Job summary

Epic Systems Corporation is seeking a Splunk Engineer to optimize and maintain our cloud Splunk installation. The role involves helping cross-functional teams realize the platform's potential across IT operations, Security, R&D, and BI from our Madison, WI campus.

Relocation to the Madison area is required with reimbursement. A Bachelor's degree is expected along with 1+ year Splunk Administration experience; Cribl, GitLab, and IaC tools like Ansible/Terraform are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ year of Splunk Administration experience; Cribl experience a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and GitLab desirable.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform) a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and maintain Epic's cloud Splunk installation.
• Help teams realize the potential of the Splunk platform across IT ops, security, R&D, and BI.
• Identify and implement new and impactful use cases for Splunk.
