Job summary

The team focuses on implementing next-generation security solutions, monitoring threats, and integrating Splunk with other advanced tools to rapidly identify vulnerabilities and prioritize responses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience utilizing Splunk Enterprise.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and performing functional testing and data validation in a Splunk environment.
• Experience with Splunk administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, upgrades, and troubleshooting in Windows and Linux servers.
• Experience creating custom dashboards, writing queries, generating reports, and setting up alerts and notifications.
• Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Counter-Intelligence polygraph.
• Education/experience combination as described (HS diploma/GED or higher).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or equivalent (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
• Ability to obtain additional DoD cybersecurity certifications prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and analyze threats using Splunk integrated with HBSS, ESM, NSM, NetFlow, and IDS.
• Perform hands-on evaluation, implementation, and operation of cyber defense tools.
• Develop effective countermeasures and support risk management and security compliance.
