Job summary

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT/RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT/RPFT) to bring high-quality pulmonary diagnostics into primary care clinics in the Houston area. The role starts as PRN with a path to 1–3+ days per week starting in 2027, offering a daytime schedule and no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Current credential (CRT, RRT, CPFT or RPFT) required.
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
• Comfortable commuting to clinics across a region and flexible schedule.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
• Educate and coach patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients during testing.
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
