Job summary

Crosswalk Health in Florida is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT/RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT/RPFT) to perform simple spirometry in primary care clinics across Broward County. This 1099 contractor role offers flexible weekday work, competitive daily pay, and the chance to grow with a rapidly expanding startup.

You will visit clinics, coach patients for accurate results, safely administer albuterol when needed, and upload tests for pulmonologist review.

Qualifications

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration
• Comfortable commuting to clinics throughout a region
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing
• Educate and coach patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients throughout testing
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health with professionalism and compassion
