Job summary

Harbor Healthcare System is seeking a full-time Spiritual Counselor to join the Canton area team. The role is integral to the interdisciplinary care team and requires delivering spiritual support aligned with patient and family beliefs in accordance with the organization's standards.

The ideal candidate is licensed or ordained and has at least 1 year of ordained ministry experience. Hospice or home health exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed or ordained by a major religious body or organization.
• 1+ years' experience as an ordained Minister, Pastor, Chaplain or Spiritual Counselor.
• Experience with Hospice or Home Health is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide spiritual care aligned with patient and family beliefs and desires.
• Deliver services consistent with organizational policies and community clergy guidelines.
