Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a full-time counselor to support beneficiaries at the Davenport location. You will provide spiritual guidance, conduct interviews, and help design rehabilitation plans to aid recovery and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include counseling, documenting progress, coordinating with community services, and reporting outcomes. Evening and weekend scheduling are included as part of a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering individual and group counseling.

• Monitor work therapy progress.
• Maintain secure online beneficiary files.
• Complete weekly case notes and progress reports.
• Update electronic records within deadlines.
• Provide statistical information for monthly reports.
• Document service delivery and program outcomes.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Schedule: 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. You'll provide spiritual guidance and counseling to individuals facing various challenges including addiction, homelessness, and other life difficulties. This role is crucial in supporting our beneficiaries' recovery journey through spiritual guidance and rehabilitation planning.

What You’ll Do
