MJHS seeks a Pastor/Coordinator of Pastoral Care to lead and coordinate spiritual support for patients and families in New York. The role includes direct pastoral services, collaboration with clinical teams, and documentation of encounters in the MISYS system.

The ideal candidate has a Divinity degree, a Bachelor's degree, and at least one year of post-graduate healthcare experience, with strong communication and public speaking abilities to support diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
• Divinity Degree required.
• Minimum of one year experience post graduate in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of Islamic End of Life ministry.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Valid New York State Drivers license preferred.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication, listening and organizational skills.
• Strong teaching and public speaking abilities.
• Ability to input clinical data proficiently.

Overall responsibility for coordination of pastoral support services to patients and families. Provides direct pastoral services to patients and families. Coordinates spiritual support with requested religious affiliations for patients and families. Completes and prepares documentation from clinical contacts and patients.
