The Kroger Family of Companies seeks a Store Department Manager in Shorewood, WI to create outstanding customer experiences and maintain a safe, clean environment. You will direct department functions, support Beer/Wine/Spirits operations, and help achieve sales and profit goals while upholding QA standards.

Lead scheduling, training, promotions, budgeting, and performance reviews; empower associates to meet targets; ensure compliance with laws and guidelines. Values: respect, integrity, safety.

• Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume
• Train and develop associates on performance

• Create welcoming environment and answer product questions
• Inform customers of specials
• Plan and implement department business plans
• Create and execute promotions with store management
• Educate associates about promotions
• Prepare seasonal critiques for sales and merchandising
• Assist in budget, P&L reviews and financial reporting
• Maintain inventory awareness and note discrepancies
• Schedule price changes and update shelf tags
• Train on inventory and computer ordering
• Maintain proper temperatures and logs
• Support safety programs and identify unsafe conditions
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodation

Formation

High school education or equivalent
