Job summary

SPIRE Academy in Geneva, OH seeks a Jr Content Creator to join the creative team and capture student and camper stories. You’ll assist on shoots, create quick-turn photo and video content, and help grow SPIRE’s online presence by encouraging posts that tag SPIRE.

You’ll work with coaches, faculty, and partners to spot story opportunities, post content on social channels, and support sponsor activation content. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience; a strong personal portfolio or social presence counts.
• Strong social media/content creator experience required.
• Comfortable with phone and camera capture and CapCut editing.
• Outgoing and able to connect with teens and young athletes.
• Available for evenings, weekends, and camp schedules.
• Proactive communicator with internal leaders and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Support the videographer and photographer on shoots, events, games, and camps.
• Capture student and camper stories in quick-turn photo, video, and short-form content.
• Encourage students and campers to create and post content that tags SPIRE, and track that activity.
• Work with creative teams, coaches, and academy faculty to identify story opportunities and drive student participation.
• Capture sponsor activation content as needed.
• Post and schedule content under the direction of the marketing creative team across SPIRE social media channels focused on greatest engagement, including tagging students, partners, sponsors.
